A Top-Rated Mississippi Middle School Celebrates Success with Classworks

Classworks® honored the exceptional success of Bailey APAC, a middle school in Jackson Public Schools (JPS), Mississippi, during their school-wide celebration. Bailey APAC was named one of the top-rated middle schools in Mississippi for the 2018 - 2019 school year.
Classworks presented Bailey APAC Principal, Kennieth Green, with a plaque commemorating the success of the school. Classworks also had the pleasure of co-hosting a school-wide celebration for Bailey APAC students and teachers.
Classworks is proud to partner with Jackson Public Schools to provide comprehensive online intervention for students. Each student receives individualized learning based on their Renaissance® Star® Reading and Math assessment results. Additionally, JPS teachers use Classworks Progress Monitoring to track students’ intervention and make readjustments as needed. Bailey APAC, also uses Classworks NCII-validated assessments to pinpoint specific learning gaps missed on other assessments.
“Classworks helps us not only close learning gaps for our students but also challenge them and help them achieve higher levels of success,” says Amy Curtis, Bailey APAC Middle School’s Interventionist. “We don’t ever want to just accept being good; we want to be great! We have high expectations for our students and have fostered a very growth-oriented culture of learning in our school. If our students are at a four, we want them at a five.
