Wrapping up the End of the School Year with Classworks

May 6, 2024

The information you’ve collected in Classworks this year is impressive. From Universal Screener performance, and Individualized Learning, to Progress Monitoring session results; this data helped pave the way to a successful school year. To ensure you print and save any data that may help you give students a leg up for the 2024-2025 school year, we’ve prepared some guidance.

Classworks Data
Now is the time to save data charts and graphs and download formatted student growth reports. Taking this step during the current school year allows educators to gain a better understanding of the learning gaps and plan instruction accordingly in the new school year.

Classworks data from this year will be archived in late summer 2024. This archive contains the following student-specific data:

  • Universal Screener performance is reported as scale scores and percentile ranks for each assessment window.
  • Individualized Learning results are reported as overall unit average, total time on task, and number of units completed.
  • Progress Monitoring session results include session dates and weekly scores.

The archive does not include charts, tables, or graphs.

Insights Data
Classworks Insights provides whole-child data visualizations for better decision-making. These valuable dashboards provide a school and district-level view of student progress and academic and social-emotional needs. The data charts and graphs can be preserved by generating PDFs of Insight Dashboards.

Student-Specific Achievement Reports
Individual student data on reports includes screener results, SE Survey information, Individual Learning results, and Progress Monitoring. This data can be preserved by running and downloading reports from the reports tab.

Individual student achievement reports should be generated to preserve detailed information about:
Instructional units the learner engaged with and how those connected to the course of study
Performance on Beginning of Year (BOY), Middle of Year (MOY), and End of Year (EOY) screeners and Social and Emotional surveys
Performance on weekly progress monitoring probes (when applicable)
